It’s Iimi! The Fake Tricks

Sean Marcus wants to ask Iimi about the eviction moratorium being ruled unconstitutional and how it can be reconciled with being pro-life. Iimi points out that Sean needs to consider much more than “good guys” and “bad guys.” Will he consider her points? Or will he take the Blue Pill?

It’s Iimi! What’s A Catholic To Do?

At youth group, the discussion topic of the Bishops and the proposed document on the Eucharist is raised again. Iimi discusses the requirements of a worthy reception and the danger of people thinking they are owed the Eucharist whether they are properly disposed or not. Paula—who has started attending—asks what a Catholic needs to do in the midst of all the commotion.

It’s Iimi! We Must Be True To What We Believe!

This is a short comic aimed at addressing how certain Israeli rabbis misunderstood Pope Francis’ general audience on St. Paul writing to the Galatians. The Pope was not changing anything. But he was pointing out that the Ten Commandments (and the Law) were not to be followed in isolation, but the commandments are a way of loving Christ.

A Jewish upperclassman in Iimi’s school questions Iimi about this misunderstanding.

It’s Iimi! What’s The Matter With Matter?

When Rick comes up with a badly flawed argument against God, Saul responds with an equally bad argument to score points. Iimi shows that the real response is to show what’s wrong with Rick’s “only matter is real” argument. Unfortunately, the idiot trio shows—to the girls’ discomfort—that the minds of teenage males do focus solely on the physical.

This comic was made in response to an annoying meme running around that (wrongly) thinks it refutes atheism, when in fact, real atheists mock it.

It’s Iimi! A Time To Heal…

After the turmoil following Paula’s coerced abortion, she’s returned to her original high school with the others. Krysta is integrated into the youth group, and Paula begins seeking healing from post-abortion feelings of guilt. Thea is concerned that if Nina doesn’t tell Paula about what is going on, Paula will probably wind up feeling even more hurt than if she has time to mentally prepare.

I’ll be returning to the apologetics format of earlier comics, but I did need to set up the new reality that the cast will be facing.

It’s Iimi! Will I Ever Awaken From The Endless Nightmare?

In the double length conclusion to the Paula’s Abortion storyline, we see Paula wracked with guilt and despair, clearly mentally unstable. When she contacts Iimi through Kismetta, Iimi rushes over, determined to help. When Paula runs off, her friends must work together, learning that they can’t do everything alone. Sometimes, as hard as it feels, they need to step back and rely on God’s help for what they cannot do.

This isn’t the end of Paula’s story of course. But, at this time, this is all Iimi and her friends can act upon.
