It’s Iimi! Mistakes, Oversights and Assumptions...

It is easy to assume that our mistakes, oversights, and assumptions don’t hurt anybody, and we don’t have to worry about them. But sometimes we do cause harm by failing to consider the consequences of careless actions.

Iimi must go for an appointment to evaluate the effectiveness of the medicines she is taking to cope with Asperger’s Syndrome. This means she will be out of school for the whole day. As a result, she misses Kismetta’s return to school. How will a few innocent mistakes, a few careless oversights, and a few unjustified assumptions affect her on her return?

[Edit: This comic shows some embarrassing ignorance at the time it was created. Hajj 2021 would actually have been July 7-11, when school was out. (I had assumed that visiting Mecca itself was a Hajj. But I learned later that the Hajj takes place at a specific time). When this comic was done, there was no tying comics to specific dates or even times of year. If it wasn’t for the fact that characters were in school, I could have just hand waved it away. But since I can’t, just ignore the inconsistency and know it annoys me too. If it’s any consolation, I have a list of dates for 2022, as I’m trying to make the 2022 story more accurate to IRL calendar events.]
