While it isn’t mentioned in the comic (I work about a month ahead of the publishing date), Benedict XVI passed away on December 31st, two days before this comic was published. Even before he became Pope, I had great admiration for him: his writings had a strong influence on my theological studies. Please keep him in your prayers.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

For the scrupulous, no, I didn't take the Lord's name in vain under the "censored" mark. The mark was there to hide the fact that it was gibberish underneath.
